2014 onwards - Volunteer work

Since 2014 I have continued my commitments to the Association of Sculptors (ASV), coordinating or assisting with the coordinating of exhibitions.

For the past 4 years the ASV Annual and Awards Exhibition has been held in the Foyer of 600 Bourke St. I still continue to be involved with the Herring Island Arts Festival and The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, helping with the organisation as well as exhibiting work.

Until October 2017, I was President which involved helping with the smooth running of the Association (ASV). It has been very challenging at times but I had the great backup of a very loyal and hard working committee. Unfortunately, no one took over so I still seem to be doing a lot of the work. I am of course still on the committee. In June I feel honoured and privileged to be made Honorary Life Member of the Association of Sculptors.

2014 onwards - Art & Music

On the Art front I visited Mona in Tasmania ,the Sculpture on the Beach in Cottesloe and Freemantle WA and many small exhibitions. Last of all was the wonderful Triennial at the National Gallery of Victoria.

My art has taken lots of turns with quite a few sales of cold bronze sculptures at “Stony Creek Gallery”, Daylesford in ASV Exhibitions and privately with two commission in Ballarat and Merrijig.

Many of the small pieces I have now had cast in Bronze and they are displayed in “Without Pier Gallery” Highett.

I have not done a great deal of painting but following the purchase of a plan drawer I have spent time re-working many of my old drawings and filing them. I have really enjoyed the process. I still have many of my paintings in “Kooyonga Creek Winery” and have sold two paintings there.

I have enjoyed making small drawings in colour-pencil of 'characters' I have met on my travels and have also adapted my “Bracing the Elements and made brooches for the International Brooch show.

I have also this year joined a singing group “Sing Australia” and find it emotionally, socially and psychologically rewarding.
